As a copywriter, your primary focus will be on creating written content for Island Logic and its various clients. This content includes blog posts, articles, editorials, exposé’s, email newsletters, sales and advertising copy, updates on social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and more. We are looking for individuals with a strong grasp of the English language, capable of writing witty, thought provoking articles, and powerful advertising copy on a wide variety of subjects.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Fluency in English, ability to communicate and express ideas clearly, must possess exceptional command of the English language, and a flair for creative writing.
• Expert knowledge of word processing software such as Microsoft Word, and familiarity with major content management platforms such as WordPress, Blogger, Joomla.
• Ability to conduct independent research on relevant topics, form opinions, and write copy that is insightful and engaging.
• The ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive advertising and sales oriented copy.
• Gain a deep understanding of the product/subject, target audience and competitor activities in the market.
• Candidates with a deep interest the videogame industry are preferred. Thorough knowledge of Massively Multiplayer Online games such as World of Warcraft, Star Wars the Old Republic etc. a plus.
• Experience with the concept of Search Engine Optimization.
• Experience working with social media platforms such as Facebook, Google+ and Twitter. 
• The ability to write a minimum of five, five hundred word articles a day.
• Engage readers in blog comment sections, and on social networks with insightful, interesting and stimulating dialogue.
• Make changes to the copy until the client is satisfied.
• Participate in the conceptualization, and implementation of client campaigns and promotions.
• Proofreading and editing copy to check spelling and grammar;
• Candidates with an eye for detail, the ability to work under pressure, and with an interest in popular culture, new advertising trends and techniques are preferred.
